David “Guitar” Jones was indoctrinated to the blues in Memphis in the 1970s after befriending Joe Willie Wilkins, noted radio and recording artist who was Sonny Boy II's guitarist. Indoctrination continued in the '80s with working relations with Jimmy Dawkins and Homesick James, who “Guitar” Jones toured and recorded with for 30 years until Homesicks passing in 2006. He has been playing with Chicago Charlie and The Businessmen for forty years since the very beginning .
